LOHN @ Home Volume 12

LOHN @ Home Volume 12

LOHN @ Home is our way of sharing spaces and scent stories in our community.

I’m Geraldine Gonzalez Diaz (GG), a Toronto-based multihyphenate — Holt Renfrew PR & Events by day, freelance creative producer by night.

"Where I’m from” is a simple question with a layered answer. I was born in Toronto, raised in Calgary, and found my way back to Toronto as an adult. My roots stretch further - my mom is Mexican, my dad Colombian - and their stories of migration and home-building deeply shape mine.

Adaptability and cultural connection have defined my journey. I’m endlessly inspired by people: all the people I meet, the stories they tell, the art they share. My passions live at the intersection of history, fashion, and Beyoncé, of course.

Lately, I’m leaning into summer’s softness and feeling a renewed desire to refresh my home and surroundings.

I am—

Inspired and wistful.

To me, a home is not complete without—

Stories - in the form of art, books and memorabilia.

I recharge by—

Spending quality time with my people.

The scent of Guaiacwood always reminds me of—

The lingering scents of the women in my life- my mom, my sisters, my grandmother.

I light candles to—

Enrich the sensory pleasure of being at home with light and scent.

My feel-good fragrance is—

JARO. It allows me to relive the romance of a sun soaked summer day.

I'm currently obsessing over—

Substack reads and pretty home projects.
