LOHN Candles
We use a blend of essential oils, natural fragrances, and clean synthetic fragrances in our Core Collections (Amber Road, Tea Road & Spice Road). The use of these ingredients allow us to create a more complex scent with a stronger scent throw than a 100% natural scent.
Our Forage Collection (Este, Oest, Nord and Sur) is made with 100% essential oils. Every LOHN candle is paraben free, phthalate free and vegan.
T, M, B, stands for top notes, middle notes and bottom notes. Scent notes in perfumery are classified into top, middle and bottom notes according to their relative volatility, or their rate of evaporation. Top notes are the most volatile, middle notes diffuse more slowly, and base notes are the most lasting.
As your candle burns, you will smell the different notes in the scent. Top notes first and base notes last.
LOHN candles are made with phthalate-free scents, an organic coconut and soy wax blend, a non-toxic cotton core wick and recyclable packaging. Every candle is vegan, paraben free, phthalate free and cruelty free.
Our 7.5oz coconut and soy wax candles candles burn for 50 hours, our 3oz candles burn for 20 hours and our 20oz candles burn for 90 hours. The best way to make your candle last is to:
- Blow it out only after it reaches a full melt pool (once the wax melts to the glass edge)
- Burn it for no more than 3 hours at a time
- Keep the wick centered and wax free of debris
- Trim the wick to ¼” before each lighting
Make sure to burn your candle on a stable, heat-safe surface away from drafts and flammable materials. When it's burning, keep your candle in sight, away from children and pets. During use, the glass may become warm so allow it to cool before handling it.
We highly encourage this! We designed our glasses so that you’ll want to reuse them for whatever you’d like. And they are food-grade too! It’s really easy to reuse your candle glass. Wipe out the wax with a paper towel, use a spoon to pry out the wick base and then wash it out with soap and water. Ta da! You’ve got a yourself a cocktail glass, a toothbrush holder, or a vase for your flowers or plants.

All of our products are handmade by our small team of incredible makers just outside of Toronto in our 2,000 square foot facility. We manufacture, package and ship every product out of our studio.

Exchanges & Returns
Please send an email to orders@lohnofficial.com and we’ll help you out. We don’t offer exchanges or returns, however, if your product arrives damaged or if you react to your product we are here to help. Just contact us within 10 days of delivery and send us your order confirmation email.
We do not offer refunds on sale items or products purchased from shops that carry our products.
Shipping
We process orders within 1-3 business days. Shipping times are between 1-5 business days in Canada and 5-7 business days in the USA depending on the carrier. We offer Canada Post as our standard carrier, but you can also choose from other options in case you need your package to be delivered faster, especially during peak seasons!
Orders outside of Canada may be charged additional fees by the shipper that are out of our control but we use specific shippers to minimize these costs.
P.S. Our shipping materials are 100% recyclable! We keep your products safe with biodegradable packing peanuts made of starch that decompose in water leaving no toxic waste.
Yes! We offer a pick-up option from our studio (3289 Lenworth Drive, Unit G). Just choose the "Pick-Up" option at checkout.
Once your order is ready for pick up, you will receive an email confirmation with the details as to how and when to pick up your package.
Our pick-up hours are Monday to Friday from 10am - 4pm.

Of course! We will ship your order without the packing slip and with a handwritten note to the lucky person.
Just make sure to enter your custom note at the bottom of your Cart page, and don't forget to enter their name and shipping details in the "Ship To" field when you’re checking out.
Candle club subscription
Absolutely! At checkout, enter the shipping address of the lucky recipient. We can include a handwritten message as well - just add an order note in your cart.
If you would like the recipient to receive subscription notifications, enter their email address at checkout.
It is for orders shipping within Canada. For orders shipped to the US, shipping will be calculated at checkout.
Please note that offers or discount codes do not apply to subscription orders.
Unfortunately not, but we curate scents and founder favourites (or sneak peeks) for each month, based on the season. We really think you'll love them!
Your subscription will ship within 24-48 hours from the date of purchase each month, from Monday to Friday. For example, if you purchased your subscription on February 10th, it will ship by February 12th. Please note our studio is only open from Monday to Friday, and our shipping times do not include weekends or holidays.
If you would like the subscription to be shipped on a certain day (like someone's birthday), please email orders@lohnofficial.com and we will do our best to make it happen.
Your credit card will be automatically charged on the same day of the month that you purchased your subscription. For example, if you purchased your first month on March 1st, you will be charged for the second month on April 1st. You will receive an email when your recurring payment is processed.
To cancel your subscription, please email us at orders@lohnofficial.com so we can process your cancellation to guarantee you'll no longer be charged for this subscription. A $50 cancellation fee applies. A cancellation fee applies because our Scent of the Month Club subscription offers significant savings.
